The Women’s Advocacy Group of Holy Blossom Temple presents via zoom webinar:
Reproductive health, rights and justice in Canada:
Should we be concerned about the demise of
Roe v Wade?
September 19th, 7:30pm
In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade, Canadians have questions about reproductive health, rights and justice in this country. What is the status of access to reproductive health care in Canada? Are there legal barriers to access? What does Judaism have to say about abortion? Where should we focus our advocacy?
Please join Rabbi Yael Splansky, Senior Rabbi of Holy Blossom Temple for a conversation with these leaders in reproductive health, rights and justice.
Dr. Martha Paynter is a registered nurse working in abortion and reproductive health care and the author of Abortion to Abolition: Reproductive Health and Justice in Canada (2022).
